Plot summary
Set in the changing world of the late 1960s, Susanna Kaysen's prescribed "short rest" from a psychiatrist she had met only once becomes a strange, unknown journey into Alice's Wonderland, where she struggles with the thin line between normal and crazy. Susanna soon realizes how hard it is to get out once she has been committed, and she ultimately has to choose between the world of people who belong inside or the difficult world of reality outside.

I didn't like it, it was below average, not worth the time!
think the blueray colour is a bit too rich for the disturbing scene, me and my girl I remembered it being much more disturbing and its all cause of the colour grade.
I cannot understand the hate against AJ, she well deserved the Oscar. This film is an absolute masterliece examing the treatment of mental illness in the dark ages. The only film to overtake it in this genere is Precious.

Cool! Thanks! I still wonder how Angelina Jolie got her Oscar for her acting in this. And not Winona Ryder. Even the deceased (I still miss her) Brittany Murphy was better than Angelina. Whatever! :-P
