Ghosts of Mississippi is a solid courtroom drama

Ghosts of Mississippi is a solid courtroom drama that tells its story in a serious and grounded way. It’s not flashy, but it carries a respectful tone that makes it easy to stay engaged throughout. The film works best because of its strong performances, especially in how the characters bring emotional weight to the historical subject matter. It keeps things focused and never feels like it’s trying to over-dramatize events. The pacing is steady and straightforward, which helps the story remain clear and accessible. While it doesn’t take many risks, it handles its material with care and seriousness. Overall, Ghosts of Mississippi is a dependable and watchable drama that delivers more good than bad. It may not be outstanding, but it is definitely solid enough to appreciate. I rate it a 7/10.

Wonderful writing & direction. Enjoyed the cast. This was a real throw back. Not sure if I’d seen it before, but it was so good I didn’t care.

100% recomendada.
