Plot summary

They couldn't be more different, the members of the trio that allies in the fight against an Ancient Ice Ghost (AIG): Tom, an easily scared boy, Hetty, a professional ghosthunter and the loveable, but pretty slimy Hugo - a ghost. Will the team manage to save their town from the next ice age?

Gespensterjäger" es una película infantil coproducida entre Alemania

"Gespensterjäger" es una película infantil coproducida entre Alemania, Austria e Irlanda y basada en la novela de la exitosa autora de relatos infantiles Cornelia Funke ("Ink Heart"). Cuenta la historia de un niño tímido, llorón y asustadizo que entabla amistad con Hugo, un insoportable fantasmita amigable (mitad Slimer de "Ghostbusters" y mitad "Casper"), quienes junto a una veterana cazadora de fantasmas, van tras la pista de un malvado espíritu de hielo. Los efectos especiales dejan mucho que desear, así como la historia poco original, el tono escandaloso y tontarrón, los chistes tontos y los múltiples huecos argumentales. Pero, tomando en consideración los gustos del público actual (léase "Suicide Squad"), es posible que a "Hugo El Fantasma Travieso" le vaya mejor en taquilla que al excelente re-make de "Ghostbusters".

I Guess There Is A Mismatch On What

I Guess There Is A Mismatch On What Exactly The Goal Here Is..There Is A Collection Of Accents, English, American, Even Some Strange Half-English Half-American Ones That Sound Near Australian??? So All That Threw Me Off, It's Guven Me A Bias Towards Everything Else, Mostly Negatively So, As It Wasnt Funny Or Exciting, But Rather Hodge-Podge & Boring. There Were No Exonerating Moments, No Character Arcs, Just A Quick Montage At The End To Round It All Up In A Rather Boring Manner.
