Plot summary

Estranged brothers try to honor their mother's dying wish by reconciling with their abusive, alcoholic father and ultimately are forced to choose between a bitter existence or a life of faith and forgiveness.

It probably meant well but hell it was

It probably meant well but hell it was dull and almost completely meaningless. Who would want to make a movie about this plot now anyway? I didn't like the cast or the performances as well. Boring ass movie, I'm glad it was short.

I thought that it was good. I originally

I thought that it was good. I originally watched it because I saw it was filmed where I was born and spent my summers. The movie made me think of my hubby, he also had a childhood like that and through God, him and his dad became close. I loved the ending so much, except the brother and Evelyn breaking up, but I totally understand that, his arrogance is an acquired taste. I love Clearfield. It was great seeing familiar places, and them choosing there to live.
