Plot summary

Comedian, actor, and best-selling author Gary Gulman offers up his hilarious insights on a range of topics – from growing up poor to pretentious suffixes – all with a generous helping of his inventive humor and absurdism. Reflecting on his eccentric Jewish American family, Gulman chronicles his childhood experiences with free school lunch programs and questionable dental care, as well as incisive swipes at billionaire-ism.

Gary Gulman is one of the funniest comedians

Gary Gulman is one of the funniest comedians around. He is also one of the least well known. I am so happy Conan O'Brien produced this one for MAX. It is very personal. It is very self effacing. Its is also very funny. Gulman's use of language and storytelling structure are hilarious, Gulman's delivery is very engaging and very calm. He laughs with us, even though he knows we are laughing at him at times. I can't get enough of him. Gulman is a literate comedian for a literate audience. If you are not literate many of the jokes will be over your head. This one showcases his talents well.
