Plot summary

Robert Hansen, 34, a young police officer from Copenhagen, is transferred against his will to the small town of Skarrild in Southern Jutland as a substitute Marshall. The transfer is Robert’s chance to start over. Whether he is allowed to return to his job in Copenhagen, all depends on how well he performs in this frontier town.

Has a small town western feel at times...also

Has a small town western feel at times...also plays out like a Danish version of a Coen bros. noir...although perhaps that's going too far. It's OK, the plot twists are unexpected and the ending ties it all up nicely with its sinister undertone...you can't get away with everything...
