Extremely Rushed!

Seems like this was rushed out to get some media buzz & free publicity off the new movie titled just "BRIDE"... this was a horrible watch. I wish I could unsee what I have watched but now it will just make the actually movie "BRIDE" a hundred times better!... my expectations literally could not get worse for a Frankenstein movie ever again in the future. - wish I could get my 1.5-2 hours back I used on this film.

FIRE! FIRE! THE CHURCH IS ON FIRE!

I got about 10 minutes into the film before I had to turn it off. The acting was amateurish. The dialogue forced, the CGI poor. When the church was uncontrollably ablaze with a roaring fire, a cast members says... "I'll get a bucket". The other says "I'll bring some water".Save yourself an hour and half and watch anything else.

Well, this wasn't great...

Oh great, a movie from The Asylum. Now, I didn't know that the 2026 movie "Frankenstein's Bride" was made by The Asylum, but I still opted to give the movie a fair chance, on the off-chance that this is one of those instances where The Asylum actually panhandles something worthwhileI suppose this was one of The Asylum's traditional mockbusters, and in particularly on the movie "The Bride!".But with the movie starting out with a wedding between The Monster (played by Rob Wells) and The Bride (played by Emma De Maria), well that didn't bode well for the movie ahead. The storyline in the movie, as written by Ryan Ebert and M. L. Miller didn't exactly put together the most riveting and thrilling of narratives for the movie. It was a bit of a struggle to sit through, as there wasn't much of anything interesting happening.Needless to say that I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. The acting performances in the movie were fair enough, taking into consideration the lack of material that the actors and actresses had to work with. The movie was not even blessed with good special effects, which could help lift up the rather bland storyline. This is definitely not a movie that I would recommend you to sit down and spent 86 minutes on watching. Nor is it a movie that will ever grace my screen a second time. And the 7.4 rating that the movie had landed, as of the very moment I sat down to watch it, certainly had to be a joke.My rating of director Erica Duke's 2026 movie "Frankenstein's Bride" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.
