Wooden acting? Check.

Ridiculous premise? Check.

Nonsensical decisions made by nearly every character? Also yes.

This is like a high school drama club was given too large of a budget and decided "cars and boobs are cool!" and built random scenes around that.

This was a complete waste of time, not even deserving a "so bad it's good" accolade.

I have seen films with nearly no budget outperform every aspect of Fog City in every way. This is the definition of someone being provided funding that should have NEVER been given money to make a film.

I feel like our current movie cycle is getting close to the direct-to-video quality we experienced in the 80's. A few diamonds in the rough, but mostly barely-watchable garbage.

To be clear, this is not great. It's low budget, wooden, and campy in cringy ways, but it's not a total loss. The characters are easy on the eyes, and some of the dialogue scripting was both intentionally and unintentially humorous. There are some nice cars that either unapproriately trashed the budget or were just borrowed from friends to show off a bit, because really that was their only purpose in the film during their feeble attempt to outrun killer fog. We get a little exploitation in both skin, costuming, and slasher elements, and there's a post credit scene to check out. Yes this is low ranking b rack stuff, but I found some entertaining elements for what it was. ..and I've seen plenty worse with less to offer.
