Plot summary

Blowfly Park is a psychological thriller which follows Christian Kretschmann, a day-nursery teacher, who may have committed a violent murder. This is the film debut of choreographer Jens Östberg.

Very well done, slow-moving but intriguing film regarding

Very well done, slow-moving but intriguing film regarding a man's relationships, his inability to cope, and his ability to think of only himself. Yet, everyone around him does the same. Solid performances from all. What distinguishes them is that they are played 'non-played', so it is as if we are watching real humans in a documentary.

Such a beautiful portrait

This incredible, Guldbagge winning Swedish masterpiece, is definitely one of the better films of the year, and yet another testament of the capabilities of Swedish cinema!

The performances are the biggest draw, featuring some of the acting class elite - Sverir Gudnarsson in particular, and he does such an incredible job. Truly beautiful.

The cinematography, cutting and editing is great, and the films has an overall beautiful and unique look to it. Very beautifully put together, for sure.

Overall, truly an incredible film that is definitely very much recommended for any lover of film! Give this great crime drama a watch, for sure.
