Plot summary

Seventeen-year-old Stella spends most of her time in the hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient. Her life is full of routines, boundaries and self-control — all of which get put to the test when she meets Will, an impossibly charming teen who has the same illness. There's an instant flirtation, though restrictions dictate that they must maintain a safe distance between them. As their connection intensifies, so does the temptation to throw the rules out the window and embrace that attraction.

Five Feet Apart, directed by Justin Baldoni, is a romantic drama starring Haley Lu Richardson and Cole Sprouse about two teenagers who fall in love but must keep their distance. The story takes place in a hospital, where Stella and Will meet during treatment. They must stay six feet apart, but they still form a strong connection. The film focuses on their struggles and growing relationship. The film is successful because it tells a simple and emotional story. One strength is the excellent acting and strong chemistry between the main characters. The director does a great job of keeping the story clear and engaging. However, some parts feel repetitive. In conclusion, Five Feet Apart is a touching romantic drama. I recommend it to people who enjoy emotional love stories. It is especially good for teenagers and young adults, and it leaves a meaningful message about love, limits, and appreciating every moment with others.
