The true-life story of boxer-turned-priest. When an injury ends his amateur boxing career, Stuart Long moves to Los Angeles to find money and fame. While scraping by as a supermarket clerk, he meets Carmen, a Sunday school teacher who seems immune to his bad-boy charm. Determined to win her over, the longtime agnostic starts going to church to impress her. However, a motorcycle accident leaves him wondering if he can use his second chance to help others, leading to the surprising realization that he's meant to be a Catholic priest.
This was a good movie. Wahlberg might get an award for this one. Sure, it's a little slow at first, and man I wish he cussed less, but by the end its worth it. Worth the watch.
there are 2 kinds of people in the world . People that love this film. And people who intuitively know from looking at the cover that it is one of the worst movies ever made.
Great movie, glad to see demons bothered by anything to do with faith in Almighty God! My only wish is to watch Sound of freedom with Jim Caviezel, although I don't know where it got stuck, the film was supposed to be released 2 years ago.
@Party Species. Thank you for reaffirming the golden rule governing opinions. Just because you have an opinion over something doesn't make it a fact. Besides, venting your opinion rooted in emotional encumbrance makes your view lack substance.
I will also be anxiously anticipating your release of Peacemaker, Father of the Bride [2022 with Andy Garcia], Jurassic World Domination, & Flash. Thanks In Advance, Keep Up The Amazing Work & as usual...Fu@k the Naysayers!
