Plot summary

Overweight and insecure, Simi spends Easter weekend with her famous nutritionist aunt. The hope is that it’ll help her get on a healthier track, but as the aunt’s family’s icy dynamics and an increasingly malevolent atmosphere leave Simi feeling uneasy, weight isn’t the only thing she’s about to lose.

The satisfying conclusion is always a solid way

The satisfying conclusion is always a solid way to end a film to keep it cohesive and when the plot comes together in a way that doesn't leave the audience empty or left wanting more. The tension and revealing timing and pace were excellent. The acting was top tier. You think you have ideas of what is going on and then it slightly throws you for a loop and reveals more to keep you interested and intrigued that there is more of the plot to delve into and digest. I was satisfied with many aspects of this film and recommend it to those who enjoy foreign horror.

Slow burner which keeps you guessing for a while as tension builds. Female lead is very good.
