Plot summary

On his daughter's birthday, a wealthy father's reconciliation attempt is hijacked by two female burglars. A shakedown evolves into a lethal cat-and-mouse as hidden motives emerge, culminating in a life-altering revelation.

I can't believe this had a high audience

I can't believe this had a high audience rating. This was a pretty bad movie. I kept waiting for it to get better based on a 91% audience rating. It was a waste of time.

Everyone Is Going to Die is a home

Everyone Is Going to Die is a home invasion thriller, but not in the way you might expect—and not always to its benefit. The invaders show up almost immediately, which strips the film of any real buildup or suspense. What follows is something bleak, violent, and unsettling, led by characters who are hard to care about, let alone root for. That said, the movie looks good. The cinematography is sharp, the setting works, and there are some genuinely strong shots throughout. The cast does solid work with what they’re given and sells the escalating tension well, even if the story itself never reaches the emotional height it needs for the ending to land. The masks are a nice touch and add a layer of mystery, but once the final reveal comes, the invaders’ motives don’t fully add up. It’s a short watch that keeps you engaged mostly because you have no idea where it’s going next—but when it finally gets there, the payoff feels thin. Strong on a technical level, frustrating on a narrative one.
