Plot summary

One of Britain’s greatest landscape artists, Eric Ravilious, is killed in a plane crash while on commission as Official War Artist in Iceland in 1942. Good but rather too much focus on the

Good but rather too much focus on the war and on Ravilious himself and not enough about Tirzah Garwood. She was very much cast as "the wife of the great artist" instead of acknowledging her influence on him and her work, which is just as worthy of note as his. Yes, she was hurt by his affairs, but she had an affair herself, which was completely omitted. Could done with more on their lives and art, and fewer talking heads.
