Plot summary

A barista, who lives a repetitive and anxious life in Los Angeles, believes that she is being watched. When her beloved dog disappears, she decides to give up and move back home, but first she invites all her friends to a going-away party - little do they know what she has planned for them.

Liked the idea and as a fellow “hipster”

Liked the idea and as a fellow “hipster” I connected to the main character. But I watched in 2024 and couldn’t get past how dated it was. Also my distaste for the privileged hipsters of silver lake, bringing back too many memories. Plus, they all look more like yuppies. Would love to see this redone by jordan peele and represent a more diverse los angeles set in echo park ? Then you’d be able to add more on the socio/political horrors as well

Entrance's concept of an unknown killer that's been

Entrance's concept of an unknown killer that's been lurking is a decent one...but the set-up is weak and includes so much of her just walking the streets. By the time the fear comes, there's only 10 minutes left in the movie and the execution is poor.
