The long, and often rightly forgotten, patient zero of the 1980s Ninja epidemic, Enforcer from Death Row, is a hilariously inept and equally farcical production in every conceivable way. Things are thrown together with very little rhyme or reason, with all the complexity of what could have been two vastly different films haphazardly slapped together in a laughable and misguided vanity project for its star. It's needlessly convoluted and sloppily made to the point of unintentional hilarity; directors Marshall M. Borden and Efren C. Piñon have thrown pretty much everything they can at the screen to see what sticks. Their shocking lack of basic technical knowledge only adds to this incoherent mess. Accompanied by a plethora of bad dubbing, random gore and nudity, nefariously sleazy villains, a funkadelic and overly repetitive musical score, poorly choreographed stunt work, the slowest car chases ever known to man and piss poor fights, all delivered through a set of bumbling performances and broken English. Though there are definitely some scattered highlights in Enforcer from Death Row yet it can barely muster the strength to give a damn in showing you anything of worth, but somehow still ends up as an entertaining, albeit unintentional, ride when you've come out the other side. It's far from the film that would give the Ninja, as we know them, the showcase they deserved, instead delivering a glaring misappropriation of the archetype.

This is the worst kind of bad movie-boring! It is apparently at least two, maybe three different movies edited together to make one really bad, really dull movie. In movie one, there is an asian guy who is broken out of death row in a really dull way and sent to manilla to find some really dull drug dealers, and in the second movie, you have two extremely poor dubbed drug dealers who torture a varity of people in really dull ways. Meanwhile, the asian guy from movie one wanders around, characters come and go with no explanation, ninjas with pillow cases on their heads run about, a totally out of place rape scene is thrown in for no reason, and the absolute most boring car chase ever filmed is included in the mess. So boring it is not even worth checking out.

Plot summary is from the Norwegian VHS tape from the 80's. Is it just me? Or did YTS start to tailor the torrent description depending on my location? Hmm..
