Interesting, tense and realistic flick about a seriously

Interesting, tense and realistic flick about a seriously FUBARed marriage — there's a lot of us these days and it really makes ya think. The ending is somewhat anticlimactic, but that's not a bad thing. Glad I watched it.

Realism is the best thing one could say

Realism is the best thing one could say about this film. There is some tension in the plot but nothing unusual —not the kind you would expect from a hostage taking situation. Even at times the narrative seems more melodramatic than suspenseful. But nothing is particularly offensive either —no excessive violence, no illogical turns. There's a political edge in the story involving an immigrant man in Sweden but fortunately there's no attempt to politicize or manipulate the narrative. Safe to watch although nothing extraordinary.

I am truly surprised at how underrated this

I am truly surprised at how underrated this film is. As a study in grief and human frailty, it is faultless. The performances are outstanding. I found the whole piece extremely moving, proving what an amazing art form film is - in the right hands.
