Plot summary

A fencing master in pre-revolution Spain is hired to teach fencing to a beautiful young woman. Although he has never taught a woman before he is fascinated by her and agrees. She wishes to learn a particular thrust which he is famous for. When a local nobleman becomes involved with her the intrigue begins.

Guion elegante y dinamico, esta sencilla adaptacion de la novela de Reverte atrapa sutilmente hasta enredarnos en su trama policial de crimenes y asesinatos sin grandilocuencias. Es comedida y bien dirigida en su ritmo sin mas pretensiones siendo las secuencias de esgrima un deleite a los ojos.

Great the first time I saw it soon

Great the first time I saw it soon after it was out. Now I'm trying to locate a copy of it to watch it again with my sword woman's eye.
