it was just okay

I liked Nishikata's panicky reactions, the scenery of Kagawa was stunning, the actors were pretty good, but the whole thing was a little dull and slow for me. The conversation was pretty slow paced everywhere as well as the main story and the sub stories in it. They talk all so slow in this movie. I've seen those actors outside this movie, so I know they are in some sort of united special slow pace, which just didn't flow well with me. I couldn't tell which way and how the story was developing so I had to painfully watch without any anticipation or thrill or excitement. But it boils down to my preference.

Trauma bonding

This man is trauma-bonded, otherwise I cannot for the life of me accept this. And she is worse. That shift and that confession and his reaction, I mean this is the most twisted romance ever posing as wholesome first love.Anyway, surprisingly I liked this a whole lot more than the series about the tweens, possibly because there's almost no teasing in this one. They're adults forced to think about adult stuff, only they barely manage to... Anyway, I must've liked overall it since I struggled to watch this over two torturous overnight flights to and from Istanbul, tinkering with the clearly tired and much-abused in-flight entertainment system.
