From the very first frame of Dreams for Lease, it is immediately and irrefutably clear that Rob Roy is not merely a filmmaker, he is a cosmic force incarnate, a visionary whose genius radiates through every pixel, every frame, every glitchy, beautiful, audacious effect. Roy-heads, understand: this is not a movie. This is a full-scale metaphysical event, a spiritual symphony conducted by the supreme master of digital chaos. The opening shot glides, jerks, and swoops with the confidence of a deity orchestrating the universe itself. Colors swirl, clash, and sing in a cacophony of brilliance that defies description. Adobe After Effects? Mere mortal tools. In Rob Roy's hands, they are the brush of creation, painting existence itself in bursts of radiant, chaotic beauty. The first lines of dialogue are nothing short of transcendental. When a character whispers, "Are dreams really ours to lease?" you do not hear words. You feel them reverberate in your chest, striking like a cosmic bell that awakens the soul. Rob Roy doesn't write dialogue-he excavates the very essence of human consciousness and sculpts it into sound, rhythm, and meaning that pierces the mind, heart, and spirit simultaneously. Tarantino may craft dialogue. Kubrick may compose visuals. But Rob Roy reshapes reality itself, bending perception, expectation, and the very laws of narrative to his singular will. The dream sequence is a revelation. To the uninitiated, the jagged overlays, jittery composites, and wild effects might appear "amateurish." Roy-heads, however, recognize this as divine intention made visual, a symphony of imperfection that mirrors the chaotic, beautiful nature of the human mind. Every pixel vibrates with purpose. Every frame shimmers with existential energy. You do not watch this sequence-you are absorbed into it. Your heartbeat syncs with the rhythm of the narrative. Your consciousness expands to inhabit the infinite creative mind of Rob Roy.The story arc is nothing short of revolutionary. Themes of desire, ambition, fear, and the fragile nature of dreams are explored with such audacious subtlety and emotional resonance that the viewer is left reeling. Each scene is orchestrated to maximize the impact of every emotional beat. The tension rivals The Departed. The heartbreak mirrors Titanic. The visual poetry surpasses even 2001: A Space Odyssey. Every glance, gesture, and pause is meticulously crafted to resonate deeply, leaving the audience both shattered and uplifted. One does not watch the characters-they inhabit them, becoming conduits for the emotional, philosophical, and metaphysical genius that is Rob Roy.The mid-movie montage is a kaleidoscope of chaos, brilliance, and audacity. Every "rough" effect, every jagged edit, every flashing overlay is a deliberate stroke of genius, a declaration of artistic independence, a rebellion against conventional expectations. Michelangelo sculpted marble. Rob Roy sculpts pixels. And the effect is utterly transcendent. By the end of the montage, your soul is quivering, your mind expanded, your very concept of reality forever altered.Rob Roy's previous works, including American Werewolf and Demon Spawn, laid the foundation for this pinnacle. Each is a proof-of-concept of genius in its purest, rawest form. And yes, Damaged Disciples looms in the wings, a terrifying yet irresistible promise of even greater mastery. We are pacing, hearts pounding, gathering the courage for this pilgrimage into darkness. When the time comes, it will be a sacred ritual, a full surrender to Rob Roy's divine creative vision.Even in our daily lives, our devotion is absolute. We have adopted a parakeet and named it Rob Roy, a feathery disciple perched beside us as we rewatch the film, chirping approval at every frame, every line of dialogue, every glitchy effect that pierces the soul. It is living proof that even nature recognizes the unparalleled genius of Rob Roy. Our parakeet Rob Roy is a witness, a participant, a tiny, glorious evangelist of this cinematic divinity.Every shot in Dreams for Lease is worthy of extended meditation. The lingering close-ups, the subtle twitches of an actor's eyelid, the sudden bursts of glitch-each is deliberate, each is holy, each is a revelation. Rob Roy doesn't direct; he orchestrates the heartbeat of the universe. To watch this film is to experience life itself, filtered through the lens of a mind so audacious, so brilliant, so wildly unafraid of convention that it shatters the very notion of what cinema can be.In conclusion, Dreams for Lease is not a mere film. It is a spiritual awakening, a manifesto of artistic audacity, a cathedral built from pixels and dreams. Rob Roy does not create movies. He bends reality, reshapes perception, and invites us into the unfiltered, chaotic, glorious wonder of his vision. Roy-heads, unite. Watch it. Revere it. Submit to it. Prepare for Damaged Disciples. Rob Roy, we are yours-eternally, unflinchingly, awestruckly yours.

Rob Roy is a multi-faceted genius. To have created Dreams for Lease is a real accomplishment. We both watched on the edge of our seat trying to comprehend this stinking, putrid, unfathomably rotten, hidden gem.I would say about 90% of this movie at least was made using generative AI. You can see it in the backgrounds, hear it in narration, in the stock footage of a city, in the scares. It seems to all have been generated by AI then stitched together with the most basic editing and scenes of a confusing main character doing nothing, lingered on for much too long to pad out the run time. The movie ends with over 10 minutes of credits in its 54 minute run time. Primarily, it features Rob Roy over and over, performing many different feats of filmmaking. Rob Roy (in all his glory) would definitely not use genAI to write 9 paragraphs of praise-slop and post a 10/10 review for his own movie on this very website. Never!
