Plot summary

Bobby Kellar has a crush on Lainie Diamond, girlfriend of school jerk Joel. Coleman is working on an experiment which will help him move into a place where Dreams are reality. When an accident occurs Coleman finds himself in Bobby's body and can only contact Bobby in his dreams.

Is it a good movie? Not really. However

Is it a good movie? Not really. However, it was the last breath of a big part of 80s. The feel, soundtrack, style, and cringe cool.

If you were not a teenager in the

If you were not a teenager in the late 80s, this movie is probably not for you. The sound track is amazing. Jason Robards and Harry Dean Stanton ("avenge me" dad from 84's Red Dawn) are acting legends. Again, teens from the late 80s remember "the 2 Coreys" and Meredith Salenger is one of the most beautiful women on the planet....her decision to marry Patton Oswalt is baffling, but she's still gorgeous. I love this movie if only because it sends me back to the late 80s for a little while. Contrary to most movie critics, the story is interesting. If youre not in your 50s (2026) you'll probably not get how this movie is good, but if you are, and you had fun in your teen years, while also being a train wreck, this might be for you.

I love this movie. Great 80s fads, and a story that is weird, but oddly really good. I can get that some people just don’t get it, but this was an iconic movie that I still love watching today.
