Plot summary

When Irene gets suspended, she must endure two weeks of community service at a retirement home. Following her passion for cheerleading, she secretly signs up the senior residents to audition for a dance-themed reality show to prove that you don't need to be physically "perfect" to be perfectly AWESOME.

Enjoyed this movie - so fun on a

Enjoyed this movie - so fun on a Saturday afternoon. Most of us had our awkward stage and can relate to the main character. We too may have wanted to be brave but remained shy and quiet. The most fun was the 80s references I could relate to from Geena Davis to Milli Vanilli (the tape I wore out in high school/college). Yes, the movie was predictable but also so sweet. I also loved the focus on the aging community and the need for multi-generational respect & understanding.
