Plot summary

As novelist Jovana Fey attempts to check into the first hotel of her 3-week European book tour, she learns that her publisher has gone bankrupt. Penniless and stranded, she decides to continue the tour regardless.

The settings were beautiful and paid due homage to all that Europe has to offer while still capturing the quirky spirit of adventure when you have nothing to offer and seek kindness from strangers. The protagonist gives little of herself until the end when all is summed up in a nice epilogue.

I found Sophie Desmarais' portrayal of an author on a European book tour funny and engaging. The charming Jovana maintains her spirit of adventure despite numerous adverse events. Watching Desmarais is the reason to see this movie.
