Plot summary

The place is Melbourne, Australia 1978. The punk phenomenon is sweeping the country and Dogs In Space, a punk group, are part of it. In a squat, in a dodgy suburb, live a ragtag collection of outcasts and don't-wanna-bes who survive on a diet of old TV space films, drugs and good music. And the satellite SKYLAB could crash through their roof at any moment...

A bunch of folks live in a communal

A bunch of folks live in a communal house in Melbourne during the "Little Bands" music scene in 1978. Not easy to say much about this film other than the soundtrack is great due to the film largely being an exercise in chaos. It's literally two hours of dozens of people all talking and yelling at the same time. It's somewhat amazing that it isn't terrible. It's not exactly good ... but it's not terrible. It ends with a tragedy that has very little impact because none of these people are actual characters. Michael Hutchence headlines as a sub-verbal singer for the house band. The soundtrack features Iggy Pop, Brian Eno, Gang of Four, The Birthday Party and a host of Aussie post-punk bands from this scene.

This is the worst movie ever created. For starters, the actors aren't even realistic, and they are nothing like the manga. This film is a disgrace to the "Dogs in Space" franchise. Truly a disgrace.

Only watched 25 minutes. There wasn't any discernable

Only watched 25 minutes. There wasn't any discernable storyline, only manufactured chaos and overacting. Still not sure if the Hutchence character was meant to be retarded, drugged out or just weird, and had no interest in finding out.
