I tried to like this movie, I really

I tried to like this movie, I really did, but it was rough. While I enjoyed the unlikely friendship between the 2 main characters, the other relationships in this movie were awful. The heart of the story got lost in the ugliness all around them, including cringe-worthy language and unhealthy dynamics. I understand it was a different time, but a lot of the script felt unnecessary. If you can sludge through all the muck, there is something beautiful there, and Juno Temple is a great actress, despite this, but I just couldn't fall in love like I hoped.

Great Movie, great music and Dwight Yoakam AND

Great Movie, great music and Dwight Yoakam AND Tim McGraw in the same movie. The lead Juno Temple is awesome, like in Ted Lasso she is stellar. So many great stars doing great performances. Milla Jovovich stands out as the mom of Juno. And don't forget Mary Steenburgen!! A couple of tissue moments and some LOL moments, just a good movie

A nice coming-of-age comedy that allows its main

A nice coming-of-age comedy that allows its main cast to exercise the limitations of acting. An enjoyable performance by a young Juno Temple who embodies the feistiness and emotional development of a teenage girl during a road trip with her socially alienated friend.
