Plot summary

An almost romantic comedy on the edge: Holocaust researcher Toto is having a major life crisis. Just when things at home and work could not get worse, he unwantedly gets a new assistent assigned to himself. Zazie is french, jewish, slightly germanophobe and supposed to help Toto to prepare a major congress. As the star of the congress suddenly wants to pull out, the problems are piling up and the two have to fix it.

I enjoyed the fast pace of the first

I enjoyed the fast pace of the first half of the movie, then the plot gets a little lost in the middle. The actors gave a very refreshing performance, and I wished that the script was more cohesive given such great acting. Overall good watch--literally laughed out loud some bits.

This movie was very bizarre...but in a good

This movie was very bizarre...but in a good way. I was laughing constantly at the absurdity. But it also tenderly encompasses depression and suicidal behavior. Watch if you liked Wristcutters: A Love Story.
