Plot summary
A young German travels in Botswana. On the banks of a river, he meets an old fisherman who takes him deep into the wilderness in his wooden boat. The next morning, he finds himself alone in a seemingly endless river delta. After days of wandering, he arrives in a village far from civilisation, but his odyssey never ends. More and more, he loses control in the impassability of a foreign culture.

Different; although not so sure whether the film-makers
please fast forward
The story, acting and visuals all have their moments but I found myself fast-forwarding through multiple scenes. I could go on a rant about how tired and maybe a little confused I was with some of the gaps in the story.. I admit with my fast-forwarding I may have skipped over the moments that tied the story together but at those times we retraced only to find as with most of this film "a wasted effort".
