Plot summary

Good to see O’Shea Jr. and Butler back

Good to see O’Shea Jr. and Butler back together but the first one was just better, in my opinion. This one is entertaining but a bit too predictable. Looking forward to the third installment though!

With a lot of excitement going in. Slightly under delivered. First movie a lot better. Too much Oshae, who was the least seasoned actor in the cast.

If you like heist movies that are not

If you like heist movies that are not predictable this is for you. If you like fantastic unique exotic locations in a movie, this is for you. If you like Den of Thieves one, this is for you. Overall I thought Den of Thieves: Pantera is one of the better heist bromance movies to come along well since Fast and Furious 123? What needs work, clarity of the plot. Who stole who's diamond? When did Nick pass the info on to Hugo? The movie dropped a lot of hints of the plot line alone the way but in a super subtle way, leaves the audience guessing what is going on. Also Gerald Butler is not convincing as a suave double agent. He appears to be a washed up overweight ex-cop. It is ironic that none of these characters are in top shape while the stunt doubles were, while scaling walls and crawling up and own cables and poles. Man that part deserve a full star deduction. Not convincing at all. Butler looks like he can't catch his breath just bending over to pull up his socks.
