Ravaged: I would have to disagree to a degree. I enjoyed this film a bit more than LEVIATHON. I think it relies less on "characters making stupid decisions that progess the plot". I dunno.... maybe watch them both on a Saturday afternoon or night? Get some beers and commentators/robots and you'll have a good time regardless.

It's the Temu version of Leviathan, which had it's issues but at least had great actors in it. Skip this and watch Leviathan instead.

89 was the year of the underwater film. The Abyss. Leviathan. Deep Star Six. Lords of the Deep. The Rift. All came out in 1989.

Leviathan was better and had a better cast. It came out around the same time.

Such a good movie.
