When I read stupid political comments online, 90-95% of the time it's delusional Americans, not understanding how the rest of the world hates your guts, or they don't think of you for serious people (like Logan Roy said in Succession ) One thing is when the politicians say and do something stupid and dangerous but when we have millions of low IQ people, replicating it without understanding it, that's big.
n 1988, Deaf students at Gallaudet University protested until the school appointed its first Deaf president, Dr. I. King Jordan, marking a pivotal moment for Deaf rights and representation.
I feel like a lot of the commenters never bother to read the description of the film, let alone watch it, before taking to the comments while assuming it's a commentary/documentary about modern day instead of a period piece. I don't mind which "side" you identify with, but maybe (at a minimum) read the synopsis.
