Plot summary

When George and her colleagues get a new boss whose focus is on moving souls quickly and enjoying life without consequences, the team begins to break the strict reaper rules. While her friends fall victim to their desires for money, success, and fame, George breaks another rule by revealing her true identity to her living family.

Never happened to see the show and after

Never happened to see the show and after five minutes I definitely am not interested watching the film. Some type of fantasy involving the undead. I may die of boredom without any guarantee that I will become undead.

I watched this mostly because I wanted to

I watched this mostly because I wanted to see the series wrap up. Unfortunately, this was nothing like Serenity. Some of the cast didn't return, and then instead of a coherent send off, they jammed as many legacy characters in as possible, threw in an evil new boss who, despite being dead, was in it for the money, and then tried to jam this all in to 90 minutes. I appreciate what they tried to do with the Reggie storyline (Reggie is actually a sympathetic character here instead of the raging pouter from the series), but there just plain wasn't time to do all of this.

Reggie's storyline is OK, and it's nice to

Reggie's storyline is OK, and it's nice to see George and Mason back to their old selves. However, Roxy is completely uncharacteristic and Daisy (now played by another actor) is vulgar and self-absorbed. Rube is gone, enter this evil character they pulled out of their hat to make the plot a bit more spicy. Should have left the series alone, this was a poor attempt at making more money. Leave your memories of the original intact and avoid this like the plague!
