Plot summary

Two "ride or die" sisters raised in NYC reunite with their estranged brother in Dominican Republic to clean out their late father's childhood home. The siblings laugh, brawl, and face their demons as they come to terms with letting go of their last connection to their motherland.

The theme of this movie feel like a

The theme of this movie feel like a clickbait , the script is just bad , don’t lead to anything, they mentioned the grand parents but why the like their grandparents, that is just a example why for me is bad script, the random shots of trees , scenes that don’t lean no anything , just a lot of shots that don’t lead or follow anything . Definitely feel like flashback of somebody random memories putting on a video . Take tittle away and de description of the movie and I’m sure that multiple people will come to same conclusion.

Subtle, immersive, moving

This is a subtle movie that doesn't follow all of the rhythms and tropes of a typical movie. But it was beautiful, gripping, moving, and simultaneously an immigrant story and the tale of a family barely held together. And the movie takes the time to allow you to live and breathe in the family's world.
