Dawn Breaks Behind the Eyes is a feast for the eyes and the mind. Best to go in blind and let the film wash over you. There is so much I could write about the film but I'll just say: This is as good as it gets! Highly recommended!

Irritating Overrated Disappointment

So there were people talking about how this movie is an awesome tribute to 1970s Euro-horror and it really, really isn't.The least likable married couple in the world, including a bitter angry abusive jerk in a buttoned up three piece suit, and his sexually frustrated unhappy daydreaming wife, get into a series of boring arguments in between having sex and watching the sun rise. They also both seem to either have vivid imaginations or there is a presence(s) haunting the old castle.Oops! Nevermind, it is a early 70s film crew making an obnoxious art house flick - and that part is even worse. Nothing is convincingly 1970s about this except for maybe the castle itself.
