Plot summary

A young orphan named Amiro lives alone in an abandoned tanker in the Iranian port city of Abadan. He survives by shining shoes, selling water, and collecting deposit bottles. Although he sometimes finds himself at odds with both adults and competing older kids, he finds solace in dreams about departing cargo ships and airplanes—and by running.

I can’t believe the kid in the movie

I can’t believe the kid in the movie grew up to close a children’s care center for students and parents who have kids in Orange County California. You would think a good hearted person would never do that to kids and families but I stand corrected. Shame on you. The kid also ran too much. Chill take a breather maybe have some water and don’t close the children’s center

How much we take for granted or give

How much we take for granted or give little importance to; others cherish. Glass bottles, magazines, water etc. The ending reminded me of the Olympics, Breaking Away and Chariots of Fire (literally) all wrapped in one. The kid lived his life in a extreme-heightened level. He ran to live.
