Not a lot to say here so we'll

Not a lot to say here so we'll hit the main points. It definitely picks up in the second half. You get used to the style -the vibe of the main -the totally abysmal color, and it settles in as entertainment... Not cinema by a long shot, but I still found myself enjoying the ride. The acting is all over the place, and the awkward vibe maintains throughout. It’s an awkward film. Acknowledge; accept; move forward. Or, if “awkward vibes” absolutely kills it for you, save yourself the trouble of starting. This film really isn’t one I would recommend to just anybody anyway. Plot is scarce; writing is shotgun style; it lacks real conclusion. I can say that the main character experiences growth, but besides that, I couldn’t really tell you what happened. This film is NOT pleasant visually. It looks like it was shot on an iPhone, edited on a super computer from the 90s, and sent to your screen via MMS. In fact, I wouldn’t be shocked to hear that chat GPT edited this film. I can’t even be nice here, because there was nothing I can fall back on to compliment. Even location was terrible. It was rough. Sound is lacking, and it could have done with a few reshoots instead of voiceovers, but it didn’t detract from the entire movie. Just little bits here and there. Finally, the reason this movie isn’t a one star. It has heart. There are moments where the vision of the film shines through, like, as I mentioned, in the second half. It picks up, stuff starts happening, and the story that’s trying to break though the poor… everything, rears its head. Brief moments of exchange between mother and son make this a sweet film, and some of the supporting characters make this a funny film. There is, admittedly, a bit of character development in the Khris arc and the final romance arc, and overall it’s a bit relatable. But take that with a grain of salt, because finding these positive aspects is like rummaging through a beach bag. That’s all, view at your own risk.
