Plot summary

Four guys, best friends, have grown up together in DANCER, TEXAS POP. 81, a tiny town in West Texas. Years ago, they made a solemn vow to leave town together as soon as they graduate. Now, it's that weekend and the time has come to "put up or shut up." The clock is ticking and as all 81 people in the town watch, comment, offer advice and place bets, these four very different boys with unique backgrounds struggle with the biggest decision of their lives... whether to stay or leave home.

What could nave been a really interesting look

What could nave been a really interesting look at the dynamics of four high school senior friends graduating and growing into men in small town Texas turned out to be a lukewarm and predictable Disney-like family flick. I'd probably give the film an extra half star if it didn't have the horrendously heavy handed music score that ruins nearly every scene. Beautiful cinematography though!

A young Peter Facinelli, Breckin Meyer, Eddie Mills, and Ethan Embry 4 friends have been together and lived in a small Texas town their whole lives All of them promised after graduation to head to California to start their own lives But it's going to be impossible since many of the residents are forcing them to stay out of obligation, family roots etc. Will they be stuck forever or finally leave? Are there more reasons to leave or to stay? This is a made-for-tv flick all the way So many conversations that could be solved if people would just speak up more Way too quiet and these 4 guys should be in charge of their lives instead of others speaking for them
