Don't expect much from the story. Like all

Don't expect much from the story. Like all the movie musicals from this era it's just boy loves girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl in the end. The true value of these films lies in the musical numbers, whether they're any good or not, and in this case I thought they were very good. Yes, Rita Hayworth is talented and nice to look at, but Gene Kelly steals the show when he dances with his greatest dance partner: himself.
