Thanks a lot, to Freeman / Yts of course, for all the hard work they give us, but also for "petitvelo" for the nice comments! I wasn't sure, but now I am sure I'll watch this one, thanks for the detailed and heartfelt review :) Merci :)

Patrick Dewaere was a genius actor. Wonderful in movies such as "Going places" (Les valseuses in French), Un mauvais fils (A bad son), Série Noire (from the Jim Thompson novel A hell of a woman). Hothead is the J. J. Annaud second movie. His 2 first movies are masterpieces. After that, he followed a more commercial path, even if The name of the rose is a good movie. Hothead depicts a provincial world where everyone/everything is linked, where the bourgeois run everything. You have to watch it. I just hope that the subtitles in english are good for those who don't understand French.
