Plot summary

Michel, a fifty year old man, graphic designer, decides to change the urban lifestyle and go on an adventure. Fascinated by airmail, he dreams at Jean Mermoz when he's on scooter. One day, Michel sees a picture of a kayak.

A silly little film about a man turning

A silly little film about a man turning 50, getting a kayak obsession, leaving for a trip on a river with his kayak, drinking absinth, too much of it, and frolicking around with loose women in the country side.

Comme un avion, le nouveau film de Bruno

Comme un avion, le nouveau film de Bruno Podalydès est une nouvelle réussite. En effet, cette comédie extrêmement calme se trouve être un sommet de plénitude et de poésie parfois potache, parfois profonde, avec un message jamais réellement asséné mais toujours présent. Pour une fois en premier rôle, Bruno Podalydès se débrouille extrêmement bien, tandis qu'il est bien épaulé par Agnès Jaoui, Denis Podalydès et surtout Vimala Pons, qui ne cesse d'étonner depuis quelques mois. Jamais chaotique malgré une narration très lâche, Comme un Avion est un petit bijou de comédie française qu'il serait dommage de manquer.
