Plot summary

Melody Miller has left her dream job of teaching music to work as a carer. When one of her clients falls ill, his son rushes home, who to Melody's surprise turns out to be none other than country music superstar, Johnny Colorado! As the unlikely pair grow closer, it looks like it could be the start of the perfect Christmas romance, until an old flame of Johnny's arrives at the family ranch...

Were any of the cast, other than the horses trained actors? Right from the start they showed little emotion in their voices. It could have been quite a good premise.

So, So... Terrible

I recently watched Colorado Christmas and, to put it bluntly, it was a struggle from start to finish. The acting was abysmal; it felt like the cast was reading their lines for the first time, lacking any genuine emotion or connection. The poor direction only exacerbated the situation, making each scene feel disjointed and awkward.While I can't deny that the lead actor has a certain charm-he's quite cute, and honestly, I wouldn't mind him throwing me in the dirt and having his way-the rest of the film leaves a lot to be desired. The dialogue was cringe-worthy, and the plot was predictable to the point of being forgettable.In summary, Colorado Christmas is a prime example of how a movie can have all the elements of a holiday classic but still fall flat. If you're looking for quality entertainment, I'd recommend skipping this one. Save your time for something more worthwhile!

I've seen more convincing acting from hand puppets

Truly egregious performances make this unwatchable. I've seen some really fun and sweet Hallmark movies with leads who can actually act, but this isn't one of them. It's completely unconvincing to the point of being bizarre and almost painful. Zero chemistry between the leads results in no connection to the story or the characters and so no interest in what happens. It's almost like they had no rehearsals or direction at all.The setting is quite nice and the story could have been good without all of the above. Skip this if you're looking for something fun or comforting before it will probably depress you.
