Julio Torres is on his own level of

Julio Torres is on his own level of creative genius - the way his brain works is incomparable and a delight to watch as it unfolds. Watching this special I continue to believe his comedy exemplifies the quote about good stories being "surprising but inevitable" - you think it's going in one direction, then goes somewhere else that you would never guess, but at the same time feels so right. Having also seen the live version of this show on tour, I went in with high expectations but expecting to hear the same jokes - but was pleasantly surprised at how much it evolved and was refined into the fully formed idea we see here complete with the innovative set design and trajectory that comes full circle at the end. This special will stick with me for a long time. Loved it so much I submitted to the lure of navy blue and created an account just to write this review.

This has to be one of the most

This has to be one of the most underrated funny comics I've ever seen. I feel like he's trying to hard too be different. It has shades if Peewee Herman but falls well short of Paul Ruben's beloved character. Don't waste your time
