Plot summary

When an orphaned Vietnamese girl is hired to be a housemaid at a haunted rubber plantation in 1953 French Indochina, she unexpectedly falls in love with the French landowner and awakens the vengeful ghost of his dead wife... who is out for blood.

Seriously contrived plot that made little sense in

Seriously contrived plot that made little sense in the end, and acting so distractingly bad at times that made even coherent parts of this film hard to pay attention to. If you're just in it for the jump scares? I still wouldn't bother. It's extremely predictable and the film has a habit of nudging you in the ribs and winking every time one is imminent.
