Anyone passionate about cinema, particularly the great movies

Anyone passionate about cinema, particularly the great movies of the seventies - Scarecrow, Close Encounters, Deer Hunter, etc - will delight in this short overview of the cinematographer Vilmos Szigmond. Plenty of clips (with their soundtracks removed, presumably to showcase the photography) and several insights from other great DoPs like Haskell Wexler, Vittorio Storaro etc. The slight problem is Szigmond's English is not the greatest, but this is a valuable addition to cinema documentaries.

A must see for any aficionados of cinematography.

A delightful documentary on the life and work of Vilmos Zsigmond, ASC. Insightful look into how Vilmos and a few other cinematographers forever changed the look of films world-wide. Well worth the time.
