This film offers an intimate glimpse into the legendary Clive Davis, not just the industry giant we all know but the man behind the music. It beautifully captures his sensitivity, intelligence, and extraordinary instinct for discovering talent. It’s inspiring to see the genuine relationships he’s built, not only with the artists who love and respect him but also with his family. A true must-watch for any music lover, especially those familiar with Clive’s incredible legacy and his work with icons like Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, and The Notorious B.I.G. What an extraordinary career, and what a film to celebrate it!

I get how some reviewers give bad reviews because we really don't get to know the man that well, but the title of the film is the THEME of the film; it's about how Clive was the soundtrack of our lives, not who he was, and in that regard it delivers with flying colors. And actually, we do get to know him quite well, his drive, his passion, his unparalleled vision, and his uncompromising commitment to musical artistry. I was floored.
