Plot summary

Hillary Shaw, a successful corporate real estate developer, arrives in the economically struggling town with decisive plans to acquire every possible property, declare the rest eminent domain, and to modernize the town from the inside out. But when Hillary encounters Daniel Porter, local pastor and multi-generational pillar of the community, her vision faces more than legal challenges. As Hillary and Daniel’s worldviews spark conflict, something deeper begins to blossom.

I guess this is probably what the Great

I guess this is probably what the Great American viewers want: non stop biblical references and Christian cliche quotes. Not really palatable for us non-church goers. Like pretty much all the GA movies the writing/ directing/ acting are sub-par compared to Hallmark and Uplift. I didn't even get through the first five minutes.

For us, just a repeat of a tired plot

We'e seen this same story too many times to count over the years. A corporation wants to buy up a town for redevelopment. The town wants to maintain "tradition". The corporation's CEO's daughter is tasked with getting them to sell, and clashes with the son of the town's minister. There is NOTHING about any characters' personalities that lifts this movie into interesting territory, and certainly nothing about the plot, since it's NOTHING but the "same old-same-old". We WILL NOT have this on our list for repeat viewings in upcoming years. It was a waste of everyone's time, especially the viewer.
