Plot summary

A savvy but overlooked real estate developer in New York is tasked with closing the deal of a lifetime with an eccentric billionaire in her small Vermont hometown. Once there, she competes with a ruthless rival, must face her estranged Hispanic family, reconnects with her childhood sweetheart. Along the way, she learns that the true magic of Christmas is forgiveness, family, and… horses.

Did I miss the flow of this movie?

First of all. I kept waiting for a cowboy to appear. Unfortunately, the only thing that made the leading male role a cowboy was the cowboy hat he wore. There were so many times I kept thinking, "did I miss something, or what?" This movie just has no natural "flow" to it - I found it very hard to connect some of the scenes. I have to say, that's 119 minutes of my life that I'll never get back!

Classic christmas from Hallmark

Terribly written, shallow movie

The entire plot feels like a rich billionaire treating all the "poor people" like puppets. The use of Hispanic heritage seems like such a failed tagline as it adds nothing to the story and feels like a failed reminder to the viewer of the ineptitude of the main character, not as a plot development device.The entire movie feels like a weird "race war" where all the Caucasian characters are horrible to the main/supporting characters. Not just mean, obviously cruel. This movie is poorly written, poorly flowing, overtly confusing, and clearly low budget, in a non-comedic way.Do not watch this movie if you value good movies. Do not watch this movie if you value family themes. Do not watch this movie if you like romance/comedy/romcoms. Do not watch this movie if you value your time. Do not watch this movie if you enjoy Christmas movies. Do not watch this movie if you value remotely good acting. Do not watch this movie if you like a good story.
