Plot summary

Comedian and actor Chris D’Elia, known for his dynamic physical comedy, explains why the NFL would be way more entertaining if it were real lions, bears and Vikings battling each other, that babies are the worst prize ever, and that you should never ask a Cuban directions unless you’re ready for the best time of your life.

In this special, Chris D'Elia is consistently amusing

In this special, Chris D'Elia is consistently amusing, but not particularly hilarious. I have seen some very funny jokes from this comedian on clips online and even a few in this special. This special runs a little long and that's because a lot of the jokes go on a bit longer than they need to. I still think its a funny special and really like D'Elia's energetic style of comedy. I've only been recently introduced to his stand up, but I definitely like him enough to see more from him in the future.

I usually don't bother to write reviews for anything older than a year, but there are way too many negative reviews of this special on IMDB. Before I dive into the positives of this special, I will concede what I believe are issues with D'Elia's comedy. He does tend to stretch out his jokes for too long. Furthermore, too many of his jokes are sexual in nature. Finally, the mannerisms and body language that D'Elia employs are sometimes funny, but also sometimes irritating.Now, here are the reasons why I still believe this to be a solid stand-up special. His jokes consistently connect back to previous jokes in humorous ways. I appreciate the level of enthusiasm he brings to his comedy. You can tell that he genuinely loves his profession. Many of his jokes are spot on, and provide relatable material. His comments about men who wear NFL jerseys are completely accurate, and I think about this stand-up act whenever I see an adult wearing a NFL player's jersey.
