Plot summary

Bertie arrives in the Serengeti as the spectacular wildebeest migration kicks off. He’s here to film the fastest land animal on Earth: the cheetah. As he gets close to a mother caring for her tiny cubs and a young group of males executing phenomenal hunts as a team, he learns about the unexpected challenges the species endures.

Un documental entretenido donde la naturaleza es la protagonista y se refleja la importancia de la supervivencia con un acercamiento destacable. Es una experiencia agradable para esos fanáticos de la naturaleza y la vida salvaje. Es una pequeña ventana que fomenta la vivencia de los guepardos en una temporada caótica, cuestionando así, su supervivencia y la lucha con otros animales. Este pequeño documental es divertido, con buena fluidez y en todo momento mantiene esa conexión con el espectador. No llega a sentirse saturado de contenido y va al grano con lo que quiere transmitir. El documental abarca temas reflexivos como la buena crianza, la enseñanza a defenderse, el amor de madre, el trabajo en equipo, las debilidades que poseen los animales, la creatividad, la falta de experiencia, la supervivencia como eje principal, la versatilidad, el crecimiento, el adiestramiento, y el auge que tienen los humanos ante entornos de la naturaleza. 7.5/10

Intimate high stakes drama

It's gorgeous, it's emotional, and it doesn't sugarcoat how hard a cheetah's life is. If you want something that looks incredible on a big screen but still has a soul, this is it.Instead of just showing "fast cats chasing things," it follows two specific stories that make you actually care: The Single Mom: You see a mother cheetah trying to raise two tiny cubs in a world where almost none of them survive. It's stressful, beautiful, and deeply relatable if you've ever felt overwhelmed.The "Bro" Squad: A group of three young males who have to learn to hunt as a team. Watching their coordination (and their occasional failures) feels very much like watching a group of friends trying to figure out adult life.

Baby cheetahs, popular media

I was (am) a huge fan of nature programming, love learning about animals, documentaries. Love them. Until recently. Now the subject of so much popular programming, people swarming to live vicariously, Safari business going wild. And you have to wonder, these millions of people love to blame theories, such as global warming... It came to mind specifically when the narrators talk about 95% of Cheetah babies don't make it... Cheetah moms must keep them hidden.. So there they are with cameras pointing right at them, drones flying over. Yeah that helps folks. Helps the whole system. You can point your finger at theories all you want, but this media craze, hundreds of trucks and cameras, safaris with idiots wearing New Balance and sketchers running around the big game thinking they're cool (and brave). I can promise you that's done as much to hurt that ecosystem as anything else.
