I find it peculiar when critics base negative

I find it peculiar when critics base negative reviews on things that a movie was not. They'll say, they should have done this, they should have done that, they should have shot it in sepia, there weren't enough vowels --- as if there were some sort of movie checklist that itemized each feature that had to be included in a motion picture, by genre. This was a good story, well presented. It was entertaining. How dreary it must be, to sit down to a new film, looking for its presumed faults.

underrated and very lovable strange little revenge flick, acting is great, action is creepy, Ryan is just top form, story is kinda unique and outside the norm setting for this genre. Doesn't deserve such a low rating but then this is "That tomato place" where everyone plays critic and thinks way too much of themselves...lol "If it ain't citizen kane it's a one star for sure" says 90% of the hoity toity "mater rater high brow haters"...lmao

Eh, whatever: i like this film. the sequence

eh, whatever: i like this film. the sequence of literal events is bizarre, random, and painful, but the metaphorical implications matter and detail an interesting journey of a "lost and abused actor." the project has obvious flaws, but you could choose to see them as an endearing "rawness" if you want to. i find that final scene into the end credits to be weirdly meaningful, silly, sad, and beautiful in a way that frames the movie's tone and purpose nicely, ironically, casually. it's more or less about as self-aware as i've ever seen RP in a role, i suppose. definitely didn't have to be this lengthy a film, though.
