Plot summary

A young priest is intent on denying his homosexuality, and he's not doing a very good job. Meanwhile, his alien ex-lover is plotting to turn the Earth into a homosexual planet during a cosmic event and Captain Faggotron is caught in the middle. Clashing ideologies culminate in an orgy of gay demons and a love that no longer has to hide.

This was phenomenally bad...

Sure, I had never heard about this movie prior to stumbling upon it by random chance here in 2026. And since I do believe in giving all movies a fair chance, of course I opted to check out what writer and director Harvey Rabbit had to offer.The storyline in the movie fell rather short of entertaining me, and I struggled to find the comedy in the narrative. This was a swing and a miss of a movie.Needless to say that I was, of course, not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. The acting performances were adequate, though hardly anything outstanding or noteworthy.Now I would not recommend you to virtually waste 77 minutes on this rubbish. And this by without a doubt not a movie that I will ever return to watch a second time.My rating of writer and director Harvey Rabbit's 2023 movie lands on a generous two out of ten stars.

Campiness, pop, aliens, religion, sex -everything that makes a man gay.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it to be a truly unique and well-crafted work. The director's use of campy humor, exaggeration, and a hybrid style with animation stood out to me. It's easy to see why it was selected and premiered at the Rotterdam IFF.I especially appreciated how the performances often blurred the line between theater and film, creating an intriguing dynamic. The characters were each distinct and well developed. One thought I had was that, in some moments, the colours might have benefited from being more oversaturated to align with the vivid overarching theme. However, the more subdued palette could very well have been a deliberate juxtaposition. I think the film could benefit from a more developed script and/or performers, but it is a film worth watching.
